Formula 1 2022

Another FIA fuck up which luckily didnt lead to disaster.

The worse part was that the FIA tried to blame the driver, which Sky latched onto and chose to protect the brand. The fact that the vehicle was there in the first place, after what happened a few years back, was a secondary issue for them.

Saw Gasly’s interview on Sky after. He looked so angry and shook up. I don’t blame him.

Absolute cluster fuck.

Bianchi’s death is still very fresh in the memory. Same circuit, same conditions, same fucking tractor in the road. Unbelievable.

Did they? I didn’t watch all the post race shinnanegins but I watched Ted’s notebook and he was pretty sober and stern about how it’s being investigated etc and seemed to side with Gasly.

Ted is by miles the best presenter they’ve got though. “Crofty” does my head in as does the appropriately named Jonny Herbert.

Vettel was interviewed about it after the race and didnt hold back.

Lot of chatter today about Liberty Media taking over as Governing body of F1 from the FIA. Apparently part of the deal Bernie the crook struck?

If that's the case F1 is dead.
