I would like to see Leclerc being allowed a proper go next season. He should have been the closest this season but consistently let down by his team's strategy and the car he's in.It's more a fiercely Pro-Hamilton stance. Which then equates to anti-the competition. The way that Verstappen won the title last year also has annoyed said Hamilton supporters. Also, Horner is seen as an arrogant tw@. Like yourself, I don't have a horse in this race. I don't find either Hamilton or Verstappen overly likeable; they come across (repeat, "come across", I'm not saying they are) as arrogant. But then, it's a perception that can be levelled at a lot of former F1 champions. Schumacher, Senna, Mansell, Prost, Vettel, Rosberg (Nico). All of them could be seen by non fans as being, at best aloof or detached. Maybe that's what made them the champions they were. I'd love to see someone like Russell, Norris, LeClerc, Perez, Sainz or the grinning Aussie win it. They seem to be relatively okay people. But I won't hold my breath.
My favourite driver is Riccardo. I feel like Webber; he's been robbed of at least challenging for a title in his career. He's personality along with Seb will be lost next year.
