That is correct, at the time Perez understandably wasn't happy but Verstappen had the pace so fair enough, the strategy ensured a red bull 1-2.

As a poster has already said, during the Monaco GP Sainz was in P2 with Verstappen in P3 so not sure exactly how Perez was favoured...

Don't particularly like Red Bull as a team but you know what, I'd be delighted if he won the title. If only because it would mean that at some point Verstappen would have to be a 2nd driver.....

I know full well you're being sarky. But it was never just about the driver. Stick Verstappen or Hamilton in the Haas or the Aston Martin and see how many podium finishes they'd manage.

So after today both Verstappen and LeClerc have failed to finish twice. Shit happens as Verstappen rightly stated. He knows how a driver feels when not finishing due to something that is not his fault.

1-2 Red Bull. And 1-2 in the table. They’ve taken full advantage. At least we’re done with street circuits for a while. Not the most attractive of circuits IMO.

Edit: Another useless excuse from Toto Wolf to Hamilton and his shit car. It’s like Pep excusing to KdB about a shit pitch when the player under performed. And that is what Hamilton does.

Regarding Hamilton, that Merc looks horrible to drive, I doubt that Lewis has forgotten how to drive.

Regarding Max, he has driven really well this year, I wonder if being World Champ has matured him as a driver.

Agree.

However I suspect he'll end up like Webber and when it gets a bit brown trouser team orders will be rigged against him.

No doubt Max is the best driver this season so far points wise.

It does look a horrible drive, but Russell seems to manage the situation much better. Head down and just gets on with it.

Hamilton appears to be a bit of a drama queen to be honest.
