As far as I can read and understand the RBR statement, the findings of FIA are not definite yet. RBR has however gave full insight in what has been spent.

I think it feels quite similar to City and the FFR as been interpreted by FIFA and intimately proven City were right.

So although many on here already draw their conclusions, I would wait a little bit longer. And save your final opinion when all is clear.

Doesn’t take anything away from Verstappen being by far the best driver. But if ( IF ) its proven RBR has disobeyed the rules they need to accept the punishment. Any punishment as far as I am concerned. I would have absolute no problem with that.

Some comments on social media have some people getting giddy about Verstappen losing the 2021 title as a result of this, but that just won't happen. I expect a hefty fine and a points deduction for next season.

RB will lose nothing and next to it will happen. RB are the partner of choice for FIA/LM, that much has been clear for a while. The Rags of F1.

As expected, rumours of a secretive fudge punishment coming out that if Red Bull accept, will be a slapped wrist and rivals won’t hear about.

I hope Merc and Ferrari and co threaten to walk from the sport.

Cheats should not be allowed to prosper!

Money talks in F1. RBR can pretty much do what the f*ck they want because the slimy money grabbing c*nts in charge will ALWAYS fold it they think it'll benefit their bank balance.

I was watching Brundle kick off about this should it be proved last night. Red Bull having a press conference today to spin their side with Klopp like "facts."

To be fair to Red Bull, a chunk of their budget cap violation is due to the FIA changing the rules part way through 2021 on whether used parts counted as part of the budget cap. So I would definitely fight that if I were them.
The budgets for 2021 were submitted in March 2022. The leaks/rumours from this morning claim that the reason Red Bull breached is because the rules for which spare parts are excluded from the cap was changed In JUNE 2022, after the deadline and applied to 2021. It would be mental to expect teams to work to rules that don’t exist until after they submit their figures.
It's affected red bull more than other teams because RBR makes significantly more spare parts, they do all the redbull showrun stuff and other PR stuff with their cars.

We all know the Championship result was screwed over by that bonkers official who chose NOT to apply Safety Car restarting rules to the letter and Lewis was robbed of this 8th title BUT that wasn't Max's or Red Bull's fault. I'm assuming there is a 'push' on social media to 'right this wrong' via a points deduction in 2021 for Max. Whilst it would undo the outcome of Michael Masi's ridiculous actions in Abu Dhabi it's not the right way to do it IMHO.

IMHO the right way is to exclude the last lap from the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (because it wasn't run under the correct rules) and use driver positions at the end of the penultimate lap to decide the result of that race and ultimately the drivers championship.

And as for Max, he knows he "won" the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix under non-conformant rule making and there will ALWAYS be a cloud over it. And he's run away with it this year and will probably do again for the next few seasons. His reputation wil grow anyway and this way he'll have no cloud over anything he has done.

Now its done looks like teams are experimenting for next season. Mercedes put out a dubious wing but didnt use it saying there's only one been made.

Part of me wonders if that was just placed in full view as a dig at RB.

We get it, you love RB. As an F1 fan I’d prefer to see the full facts of the matter and make an informed judgement.
