Foy - just a bad referee

So the Prem is now a football version of the WWF/WWE? Come on.
Yes in effect it is in many ways.
Paranoia rules in a few threads on here recently. By that logic, we beat Spurs 3-4 a few years ago and it was all a set-up. The Gillingham game was fixed...

Obviously its not like WWE but how anyone can say games are not swayed in favour of the established elite are kidding themselves.

Last year Foy didn't give anything when Dorrans was thru and Neville the last man should of been sent off .With the score 1-1.Utd went on to win 2-1

Take the Kompany tackel and the one Giggs did on Aguero. Giggs came in 2-footed from behind, got nowhere near the ball and hooked his other leg round Aguero's. That's at least a yellow and possibly a red according to the letter of the law. Yet he got neither. That's not a mistake.

How do you know its not a mistake and just inept refereeing?? Because thats what you think? Why can't he just be a poor ref. I didnt think VK or Giggs were worthy of reds.
Giggs wasn't 2 footed, it was one, and his other foot was underneath him, as he tried to tackle, Aguero's knee pushed Giggs knee further from the ball. It was a shit tackle from a slow player, no malice, and arguably not from behind. The wrapping of the leg around Aguero was purely a result of the collision. The video is on here somewhere in super slow motion.

It was, City fans bought Halsey a pint the night before, that's all the corruption you need at that level.

With TV deals about to top £2billion for the Premier league, to believe matches are not influenced is naive at best.

Nail on head.

There is just no dispute that Sky has a major influence over football.

It's no coincidence that 50 years after the munich disaster, the derby at the swamp just happens to fall on the weekend closest to the anniversary.

It's no coincidence that the old Big 4 'Super Sunday' games saw Chelsea play rags and Arsenal play Liverpool on exactly the same weekend. It's no coincidence that for the last 2 years running we have played Spurs for the 'top 4 decider' at the end of the season, and no coincidence that this year we aren't.

Have you ever noticed a big premier league game clashing with any other massive event shown by Sky? How many 'big 4 clashes' did that random fixture computer throw up on the weekend that Sky are covering the CC final?

Sky put billions in to football and have the clearest influence into the way the fixtures pan out. This very season, television's influence has cost us points - we end up playing the dippers 48 hours after playing Sunderland, whereas they get another two days rest. Result? We put out a weakened side (against Sunderland) and get turned over. (Dodgy offside decision notwithstanding, the TV schedule had the most obvious impact on team selection).

The suggestion that TV has no influence on the premier league is way wide of the mark.

Yes, it's all about control, and this still didn't mention about the big gambling money in the far east that link directly to the Premier League games each week.

So why hasnt it been a "big 4" weekend every weekend since sky began?

How do Sky know what the results will be for the whole season to know that City v Spurs will be a top 4 shoot out?? Unless you are suggesting every result is fixed?? Surely if they rigged the fixtures as you say they would do it so that it would be a title decider at the end of the season and not a fourth place play off.

Also, I am sure that at least one of the spurs games was rearranged because of FA cup games - were they all part of the plan as well????

Unbelievable what some believe

We are lucky to see a good ref at LG2 standard due to the poor ref situation at the top of the tree.Lets get it right the Foy one was in a long line of poor decisions by refs this season.

Take Chelsea for starters

Newcastle away straight red should have been shown in the 1st few mins but somehow the Ref got it all wrong and bottled it big time they went on to win 3-0
City at home how the fook did he miss that pen which was a game changer had City gone 2-0 up would Chelsea have come back and won ? Doubt it

Wolves away Lampard in a leg breaker of a challenge does not recieve the straight card it deserved then goes and wins it for Wolves

Wigan v Blackburn the Corner kick yet another epic fail by the ref and his assistant
Man U v Newcastle the penalty that Newcastle got :) but was in fact a clean challenge

and thats just a few off the top off my head and untill them at the top start to punish poor decisions then this will continue to go on and the game will continue to suffer
