FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

Up to 28 points now, thanks mainly to Salah. Could do with a Spurs clean sheet, and a Solanke hat trick tomorrow. And Dibling playing on monday night.
52 points with Rogers and digne to play for villa.

Up to 170k in the overall ranking but will probably drop a few as I assume others will have more spurs and rags players to play.

Palmer was actually due a drop in price tonight, he'd gone over the 100% this morning, no way he will drop now.
He almost went up last night, and was in the mid 70s at the changeover. After seeing Havertz rise the night prior after being around 80, I wasn't taking any chances.

After thinking about it more after the initial shock of missing out yesterday, I figured out another path to him that got rid of 2 future problem moves I had expected to be making anyways. Thanks for the 0.2 WC rise fellas, but I had greater needs than Diaz and Jackson could assist with.

Palmer will be rising in price tonight at nearly 90 now, so if you are able to get to him, today is the day to figure out how and who.

It was that early Chelsea blank at home vs. City that had me convinced I didn't need Palmer among the premium priced MIDs, and I know plenty of WCs last week that ignored him too.

Can't have that happen again.

I was looking to move him out a few weeks back. Chelsea are just so unpredictable with line ups and results. But after that game you have to assume he's the main man now in what must be a top 6 team. Maybe a top 4 team.

Makes Jackson also look good. My only way to pick him up is to trade down Havertz but he showed yesterday that in the position he's in he will get returns more than most. I just have to work out if the trade down is worth it.

I sold Salah for Palmer last night, it also gives me a good amount in the bank, for future moves.

I wouldn't touch their defense, but yes, they can score, and the precision that Palmer showed in his final 2 goals yesterday was something to really behold. I hear he had good academy training, and it sure as heck showed yesterday. ;-)

Makes Jackson also look good.
But not good enough. What I continue to see is Jackson either blatantly offsides or taking too much time dillying with the ball and letting the defender eventually stop what appeared prior to be an open shot at the net. I think Dunk alone prevented 2 Jackson goals yesterday. He was good for the 0.1 team value rise before he was jettisoned for the needed funds for the real essential.

I know Havertz returned, but that team's offense is going to struggle without Odegaard. I'm not convinced Saka is still "needed", but if they're going to score, I suppose he's more than likely to be a part of it than others. Leicester nearly got out of there on the road with a draw, and that isn't lost on me. The final score was a bit deceiving given the late timing of the last 2 goals.

Up to 48 pts, with Dibling playing tomorrow night. Not sure if Sinisterra (my number 1 sub, a midfielder), can come in for Mee?

Yes your first sub will come on for Mee. As long as you have a minimum of 3 playing defenders subs come on in the order they are on your bench.

If you only had 2 playing defenders then the first defender on your bench would come on.

Thanks for the clarification. My subs are, in order; Fabianski, Sinisterra, Tuanzebe and Welbeck.

Have inched up to 50 pts now (looks like 2 bonus pts for VDV; he's up two points on that previous screenshot, 11 pts compared to 9 earlier on).
