FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

I think the wildcard has to be completed in one "transaction" (wrong word, but it'll have to do), yeah?
No you can make as many changes as you like until the next deadline all for free. You can make some tonight, some tomorrow, some the days after makes no difference.

There's a game Friday night so a Friday deadline of 18.30 ISH without checking.

I reckon a lot of those players you are thinking of bringing it will rise in price soon, maybe tonight. I'll have a look.

Saka due to rise tonight, Haaland to fall tonight. Cunha due to rise Monday and João Pedro Tuesday. If you're going to do it then I'd do it tonight if possible, you can always make further changes later in the week
Done. 7 out (Haaland, Welbeck, Robertson, Evanilson, Rogers, Dibling and Digne), replaced by Gvardiol (couldn't have no City in the squad!), Aina, Smith Rowe, Saka, Cunha, Isak and Pedro. 700k left in the kitty. The forward line doesn't look chock-a-block with goals (apart from Isak), granted. But my three this weekend (Haaland, Evanilson and Welbeck) only amassed 6 points between them. Iwobi and Saliba both got more than that, Porro got over twice as many, the twat!. This is what I'm provisionally going with for now....

Watch Haaland get a hat trick next weekend now. I hope!

I may look at switching Welbeck before next weekend, depending what's available for £9m.

Isak or Jackson for Wellbeck?

I wouldn't go double Fulham Midfield, maybe someone like Mitoma? Brighton have a really good run of fixtures.

I'd change Diaz personally but I don't know who for. Maybe Palmer if you want to spend the money and get a cheap defender.

Good luck.

Too much £ in DF
Not enough big hitters in MF
Over reliance on Brighton FW upfront (Get Isak / N.Jackson if you can't afford Palmer)

I just brought in Isak for Welbeck (see the amended earlier post). The Mitoma in for ESR is a good shout, particularly given their upcoming fixtures (Saints, Fulham, Leicester, Palace, Hammers and Brentford). To be able to squeeze Palmer in, I'd have to (as you said) go for cheaper defenders, which may cut down the chances of clean sheet points. Porro and Saliba earned me nearly a third of my points this week! You'd have to weigh up if having Palmer in outweighs the potential "weakening" of the defence. Decisions, decisions!

I tend to play 3 defenders, and have 2 dirt cheap ones, it makes picking the team easier. Digne 4.6m at villa is possibly my best tip, and konate at 5.2m great value for a starting dipper defender. Braithwaite at Everton is back in the team at 4.8m after injury.

Defenders are generally sporadic points scorers unless you get a team with a load of clean sheets. We've not had that this season. Everyone is shipping goals.

Yeah it's not easy, if you need to raise some money, you could do Aina down to a 4M defender (Forests fixtures aren't great after the next game), just someone to sit on the bench and Pope to a 4.5 M Keeper. Those two moves would free up 1.3M.

Yeah, I have sanchez at Chelsea. 4.7m and has more points for the season than both your picks.

Regret dumping Maddison and not getting Cunha in sooner as he's a great baller with fantastic fantasy football it's.
You shouldn't on the former, Maddison didn't start for 2 games and only played 6+8 minutes then, so he clearly isn't nailed, no matter what he did on his birthday yesterday.

On the latter, I'm glad I've had him since 6.6M, especially since that signaled the never-again final departure of DCL. ;-)

I might have to hold on to Salah; it'd be lunacy to let him go.
Uh yeah, me too. Think I'll hold onto the yellow card pen taker for perhaps another week. ;-)

In seriousness, I'm considering not captaining him though vs. City.

Diaz and Robertson are expendable, mind (only 2 points combined). Might be time to combine selling Haaland with playing my wildcard.
Get rid of Diaz, especially on WC. Too much rotation in the LIV attack for those not named Salah.
Up to 60 pts now, with Pope (hopefully) playing tomorrow night. A clean sheet would be nice.
On paper, it could very well happen.
