FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

It's annoying. Muniz scored a late goal during the week, denying me 4 clean sheet bonus points for Saliba. And today, as you said, Lewis Skelly had a brainfart, which cost me another 4 clean sheet pts for Saliba. Add to that City clocking out at HT against Leicester, and Salah only scoring 3 pts against Everton in a supposedly "easy" game What the fuck are you supposed to do?
I'm probably benching all my arsenal and villa players next GW.

It falls right in the middle of them both having really tough cl fixtures, there's definitely going to be a lot of rotation but trying to guess who starts and who doesn't is impossible.

I have 3 outfield players and both keepers, thankfully the keepers should be safe, so I can play one and fill the bench with the other four.

Could do without injuries to my other players now.

GW32 actually looks (or was looking...) better for BB than GW33 on paper for me.

Now with Elanga with an injury after banking in his 1 pointer yesterday and Palmer on the bench to start today for Europa, I'm not so sure.

If I had Saka for GW32, I'd surely bench him between those 2 UCL fixtures after what happened yesterday.

Yeah, so much for banking transfers after the WC after Gabriel and others this week.

Still not sure about Isak either... Figure that news may influence some initial TC talk about him in GW32 as well.

Saka and Konsa both started on the bench yesterday so that's a red flag. My only choice is wether to start Gvardiol or Saliba. I don't trust arteta to start Saliba, so Gvardiol it is.

That gives me 6 DGW players, triple City vs Palace and Salah plus whichever keeper.

Hopefully Isak plays tomorrow, Howe is one of the managers who doesn't give much away and I really want to TC him, I reckon a GW36? TC is very risky, the 2nd fixtures would be midweek before the Final so potentially huge rotation around those games.

I'm only considering BB in GW32 because I don't have either of the first 2 above, and I'm finding it hard to decide on Gvardiol and Saliba too, plus my (healthy) NFO players look much better in GW32 than GW33. But as you later noted, if Isak plays tomorrow, there probably won't be that much to consider as I agree on the GW36 concerns right before the FA Semis.

Similar for next week, I guess the point that I'm seeing is I won't be 12 in on DGWs for GW33, so in either week I won't have DGWers spilling over to my bench, unlike this time last year, which was a major EVE haul (I still think of that. ;-) )

Isak's participation tomorrow will likely be the decider for me on this.

So glad I didn't captain Palmer this week as I saw a few do. I figure the boldness to still have him on my team is insanity enough.

In Ipswich I now trust between his Europa fixtures.... SMH.

Talking of insanity I've just sold Foden for Savinho who's just sat on the bench for 90 minutes. In gaming term's it was a rage quit moment. I reckon he outscores Foden for the remainder of the season though and I desperately want 3 City players which is madness in itself.

If ever there was proof off how infested this forum is have a look at the top 3 in the Bluemoon fantasy football league. For those who can’t see it ….

First place Rag
Second place Dipper
Third place Tarquin

What the actual fuck

Can they be kicked out and let the Blue in fourth place be in the lead?

Edit 5th, 6th and 7th are also Tarquin, Tarquin, Dipper. That’s 6 out of the top 7 are either tarquins rags or dippers

Pep is making it tough to find the third FPL consistent City in recent GWs, that is for sure.

In my pre-FA injury WC, I had both Haaland, Marmoush, and Gvardiol and was feeling quite good about GW30. How things have changed.

There's just too much MID rotation, and taking on 2 DEF hasn't been on my plans. Lots of pain with the Khusanov rotation too, not that I ever seriously considered that.

With UCL and Europa matches midweek for the next two, there's lots of rotation to be wary of and in those teams, it's hard to know with certainty. AVLs and CHEs lineups this past weekend were prime examples. 45 min subs becoming more of the norm in those circumstances too.

I had a draft with Ederson instead of a City midfielder, and Rogers in the midfield. Wish I'd gone with that originally now, it would have made things much easier.

I'm on 28 with Isak and Howe as Assman to play.

The average of 26 says it all.

Last few weeks it's been injuries but it's now crazy team selection and mass underperformance that's making it very hard to pick up points.

I put in Solanke and made him captain, did absolutely nothing at home to the worst prem team ever. Waste of space.
