FC Barcelona should be liquidated.
Surely that would be as big if not a bigger issue for them than for him.

If this is true it just shows what a classless
organisation Barcelona are. Threatening legal action to try to get the player to walk away from the millions of Euros he is owed. I wonder if they’ll try the same tactic with Messi.
They will just pin it on the old board and Bartomeu.
Still an issue for the club though.

I fail to how this changes anything.
De Jong signed a contract with Barcelona, not the previous board members.
That statement basically says "Hey, guess what! We've found out that, as a club, we did something illegal around your contract." How does that help Barcelona?
