Indeed, skysports.com, also understand that Joe Kinnear would happily also take Nedum Onuoha in a deal, and the chance to get both youngsters is sure to be a huge appeal to Newcastle.

It's probably best all round if Johno leaves although it will be unfortunate, we've moved on in the time he's been recovering. I would swap him for Given but not Nedum unless we are signing another centre back or two.

Sorry, had not read the part about Onouha.... they cant have both... They can have Johnson + 8 mio. That ought to do the job... and then they can sod of an be relegated :-D
