Fuel Prices

The cost of fuel is not the issue here, its the fucking daylight robbery in tax that this government is milking off the back of it.

Fuel prices should be linked worldwide. Its the same fucking oil the world over.

This country is a melting pot and the powers that be are sat with smug faces thinking its all piss and wind and that the general public will just keep taking it up the arse but i honestly think they are in for a big shock soon.

We all have a duty to make it very clear that enough is enough.

I cant see it,the fight has gone out of this once proud nation,and imo it filters down into our lifestyle,including our sportsmen..

The strategy team where I work have pencillied in £1.70 a litre by the summer (don't forget that before tax it will still be less than 60p a litre)

The solution is simples REDUCE or CAP THE TAX ......but the MP's wont cos they don't have to pay for fuel. If they are a minister they have access to a limo (costing £110,000 per year to run - not buy just run) if they are an MP they just submit an expense claim - remember they don't have to justify anything below £250)

MP Janet Anderson, who represents the Lancashire constituency of Rossendale and Darwen, made the biggest claim for car mileage at £16,612 - the equivalent of 60,448 miles in one year.

For the time being I've decided to soak the cost up myself rather than pass it on to my customers and risk losing business. The problem I have is how long I can carry on doing this?

I drive a Skoda Superb as a private hire cab mate,used to be £100-£120 per week in diesel,i'm now hitting £150-£170.
Not blaming the car,get about 47-52 mpg most nights.
Our firm put the fares 50p across the whole fare,50 fukn pence.
(i.e. a £3 hire is now £3.50...a £20 hire is now £20.50)
THAT HELPED A WHOLE FUKN LOT THAT DID.
