It wasn’t a poor point. People going on about how Mancini got us but Pep doesn’t is one that is often repeated and one that I disagree with.
The mention of Pearce was just trying to show how daft I think the comparisons are.
Nothing to do with success.
Pep hasn't really connected with the city fans , that's my opinion anyway. Not the first time he's had a dig at our support and it needs to stop.
Fulham must've brought all of a thousand fans as well, Port Vale fans swelled the attendance last round.
Ha,it comes to something when i'm being the positive oneHow long have you been on bluemoon again?
Ultimately I think he's always thought he's better than the club. Comes across in many things he says.
Brilliant manager and still seems a very decent guy but you're right - won't be able to evoke the same kind of emotion someone like Mancini did/can. It was a criticism of his at Bayern too IIRC.
Interviewer asks the question - "Pep, you know how we like to bang on about this ground not being full, so with that in mind and in view of your comments about there being too many (irrelevant) matches each season, considering that this was an early game on a Sunday in an early round of the cup, which was also screened live on terrestrial TV and that the opposition didn't bring a lot of away fans to fill their allocation, are you surprised that the attendance was quite low?"What’s sarcastic about it?
There certainly have UW.Tough call that, there have been several pearlers posted today
