It was allowed because Walker (off the pitch) played him onside
A player who leaves the pitch is considered on the goal line for offsides. So a good chance Walker clears the Sheff U shot off the line, from behind Eddie if he was hypothetically stood in the right place

A player off the pitch will not keep an opponent onside.
Actually a player off the pitch does play an oppent on side as per the laws of the game. Scenario is scramble in the box and two defenders behind keeper beyond the goal line shot goes in , do those two defenders not count or just disappear ? Of course they do check the laws of the game .

Fair enough.

So what was the story about Kyle turning up half cut on Wednesday? Absolute bullshit again. Too much of this fake rumours/stories on here lately.
Well why publicise it then?

All we seem to see these days are silly decisions. Id argue there are more now than there was pre VAR

(although I'm sure thats not the case)
It's to keep everyone talking about it. It's not about right or wrong decisions and teams getting the correct call. It's about keeping the premier league in the news and then employing more and more people to help with making the most basic of decisions. They have to spend the money they recieve from the clubs somewhere so they've invented var. Before that it was 4th officials and next it will be something else. Its a bit similar to the people who organise champions league finals and the logistics of getting thousands of people to a stadium, organising refreshments and toilet facilities. It's not rocket science but they make a hash of it anyway.
