Arrogance? Are you taking the piss...

For what it's worth I've said Sheffield United away would be tough.

This Saturday I think we will win comfortably, We have been creating loads of chances in our first three games without being clinical on front of goal. I think we will be clinical on Saturday if that's ok with you of course.

You don't half get em on here, it'll be a hard fought game, we'll just shade it by the odd goal
 
I think some people think to be optimistic about a result is akin to putting a curse on the match, or shows some form of arrogance it's pure magical thinking

City are the treble winners multiple champions of the toughest league in the world, I am quite optimistic, although no games are easy
 
Stating the frigging obvious here as per, but If we score early it should be comfortable. If not, then Fulham showed they can be dogged and resilient last weekend.

I bought some high powered binoculars for a bit of star gazing, Due to cloud cover, I haven't seen the moon for weeks. Hope I don't miss the super moon.

Would love us to throw doku straight in but I think its unrealistic, especially as he hasn't even had a training session under pep yet. Fulham manager will be missing for this game too as he serves a ban already.

We've just seen how they can sit in and defend the area before threatening on the break against arsenal so i'd like Palmer to start to offer a better goal threat cutting in than grealish. Foden has to play if he's fit.

Well no, not directly because I'd have palmer on the right and it would be foden primarily off the left so if you want to simplify it to a 1 for 1 then no it would be foden for grealish.

If you bothered to read what I posted and watched us struggle to score against sheffield united and saw what Fulham did to Arsenal last weekend, even if you didn't agree with it, you'd see the reasoning is sound and nothing to laugh at. But keep up the quality input.

Me too although it could have just as easily have been a 0-4 particularly if haaland had sunk the pen!

Pretty surprised to see Palhinha in the starting lineup for Fulham tonight versus Spurs. I'm not complaining, though.

That makes it even more stupid if you were suggesting we play Bernardo in the centre. Foden is going to play more centrally this season. Bernardo, Foden and Grealish walk into our strongest 11 so to suggest we drop Jack to accommodate Palmer is hilarious.

Yeah real stupid to suggest central midfielder come winger Bernardo silva, The guy who has won us multiple top of the table clashes almost single handedly from centre midfield over the last few seasons could play centre midfield...

Have you broke the news to Doku that he isnt going to get a game unless one of those 3 are injured? We don't have a defined strongest 11, the team changes regularly based on a multitude of things including the opposition and their likely setups and how we want to play. Rico lewis isnt getting in ahead of walker in a "strongest 11" either yet pep played him ahead of him multiple times last season...

I stated we could need more direct goal threat from the wings than what both grealish and bernardo offered last game if we and they perform similarly to pur last games. mahrez was the best option for that, with him no longer here, Palmer is now the best option with that particular attribute.

Prepare to be disappointed then as Palmer will not be starting. Grealish, Foden and Bernardo will all start. Foden will also operate more centrally this season with Bernie off the right. That’s fairly obvious.
