The way i look at it with KDB, He got taken out at Palace and looked badly injured.. He was back playing in the next match.

What was the most impressive about last night was the actual lack of a drop off from the team.

Normally in these Cup games you lose a few percent of intensity, but that wasn't the case last night. It also shows why this year will be different from other title defences as there's far more competition for places. Every player has to perform at their highest level.

Suppose it’s the benefit of now having KDB and Sané as squad fillers instead of Fernando and Navas ;)

I see KDB is pretending to be injured again. Looks like he's had enough of playing in an empty stadium. Yous do know what he said in the summer city fans? He said I'd love a move to Liverpool there fans are the best in the world I love the atmosphere when we play them. You can't blame him for faking injury such a good player who deserves better than playing in a empty stadium.

Did anybody else notice the Hawk circling round above the stadium last night? Is in training for the Derby match v the Rags with instructions to go for PEGs eyes ?

yeah, in the slightly flat period in the 2nd half i watched it catching moths, most enjoyable.

that was a professional job. Diaz played well and great for him to get his goals. I thought Foden was very easy on the eye and De Bruyne was probably better in defensive duties and harrying than in his creativity but he played well. Overall was a decent performance, if not sparkling. 35k is pretty good!!

Fulham were toilet.

Liverpool’s stadium was as empty as their trophy cabinet this week.
