Fulham v City Post Match Discussion Thread

No we're not.

And most people are getting it wrong. ITS NOT THE DRAW IN ITSELF THAT IS DISAPPOINTING, although its not good enough.

Its how it happened, its disgusting, and so fucking typical city last season. So very little have changed in that regard, panic as soon as we get a goal against. Shocking subs as well. Its points dropped like this that will cost us.

Calmed down a bit after a shower. Some nutso stuff I'm seeing on here.

Here's what I saw:

1. Nasri should have come off, not Silva. Nasri has had two very poor games in a row.
2. Dzeko was probably our third best player after Aguero and Richards.
3. Centerbacks — especially Kompany — were poor.

No idea why we didn't win. Thought it'd be 4-0 or 5-0 in the 47th minute.

Frustrating, surely, but every title team drops points like this. Rags drew how many games away against shit teams last year?

You may need another shower to wash off the bullshit your spoutin...

Dzeko was truly awful today miles away from his performance at the Spuds.

Hargreaves

Now my understanding of this signing was we were signing a Defensive Midfield player as cover for De Jong/Barry. Is there any news on him like how he's getting on in training, is he injured again, is he just getting match fit?

Would have thought the Fulham game would have been an opportunity to give him some game time to assess if he will be of any use because we are certainly missing De Jong atm.

MODS, PLEASE DO! You'll see I'm NO RAG!

Lots of rags on here today. Get a firkin grip, not the end of the world. All of our players are absolute class, everybody makes the odd mistake, it is sport. We have 13 points from 5 games. Dzeko has 6 goals from 4 games, Aguero has 8, class. Nothing to worry about. Manchini is a god. All the other teams have lost away today, we should win at Fulham but they are no mugs, they will be mid table at the end, easily. Can't win them all. Lets have Brum and Everton next week, revenge will be sweet on the blue dippers.

I don't understand where Adam Johnson get's this "Impact Player" reputation from. I honestly can't remember the last time Johnno actually made an impact in a game for us. Although I agree with the Zabaleta substitution I thought Mancini should've took Nasri/Dzeko off and put Tevez earlier on, why take Aguero off when he's on course for a hat-trick???

Few things that bothered me about this game. First i thought the decision making of most players was really bad, both on the defence and at times up front. It also seemed that Fulham players made better 1 on 1 plays than our players...Why not try to create more room especially when the other team is defending so well? Silva usually does it but was non existant and the same can be said for others.

Once Fulham made few moves to get going through the midfield it seemed way too easy to get chances . Toure and Barry very poor marks in this game and that's after Toure had a very good game against Napoli.

When we were up 2-1 and had another good chance to score and put the game away, Aguero had Dzeko right at the slot for an easy goal and he decides to take a weak shot from a bad angle...why be so fucking selfish? It was a tap in goal!!! So another example of very poor decision making..

Finally, i don't think this team should ever concentrate on playing such a defensive style simply because it's not build to play like that and it showed.

Newcastle at home last season, that's the only time I ever recall it.
