Re: Are we a bit narrow and predictable?

It's no coincidence that Bobby was after another winger during the transfer window.
The lack of width was not the reason we blew it today as we were 2.0 up it was poor defending.
First goal we could'nt do much about.... the second was a fluke. Silva going off was a big incentive for them.

Re: Are we a bit narrow and predictable?

I think the biggest difference in the last few games compared to our first few is the pace at which we're passing the ball. It's a bit slower than it had been previously. It gives the opposition time to settle in their defensive pattern. It was our biggest problem last season. We've been a bit static up front as well.

With a little more movemet to find space, with a little quicker passing to move around the opposition to create space and we'd'v won both of our games against Napoli and Fulham. We've got a lot of finishing touches to put on this team and the way we play, we'll learn and improve constantly.

I'm more than happy with the start to the season. Not lost a game yet and in a way I'm glad we've got things to work on as it would be boring to be the finished article in just three years with the Sheikh!

Two points dropped today because we simply 'switched off' from what we'd been doing quite competently in the first half ..... passing the ball , creating chances , and giving Fulham problems!

We were clearly guilty of believing that the game was won after Agueros second goal , and we then paid the penalty ...... Fulham deserved the draw because they DIDN'T switch off , they did quite the opposite !

Once they'd got back into it you could sense an equaliser wasn't far away , yet we did little to prevent the pressure , even then ........ we got what we deserved , and handed them the initiative by taking our most productive player off at an important time , something which even Silva himself couldn't quite believe.

I'd normally class a point at Fulham as pretty good going , but in those circumstances today it's got to be two points dropped.

I didn't think that Yaya , Nasri or Dzeko really did enough over the ninety minutes , but it was the lack of concentration that really cost us ......... plus the inability to kill them off with a vital third goal after Agueros early second half strike had floored them ....... instead you got the impression that City simply thought they'd 'done enough' , and they hadn't!

phew your gonna get it from pam, hoe dare you talk sense ?

pre match we were Barcelona
post match we are brentford.

everytime a result doesn't go our way certain members sulk. shit happens city slipped up today, mistakes were made on and off field. no team can play the way we have been playing this season every game. yes at 2 - 0 we should of won but we didnt, we will move on in mid week with birmingham, before the blue dippers on saturday.

stop crying like bunch of babies and accept that in the 2nd fulham wanted it more.

Very disappointing but we can't win every game. United capitalised on us dropping two points, we just have to make sure we do the same to them when they do it. Let's just be thankful we have 1 point and not 0.

Strange subs by Mancini though. Plus that's 2 games - Napoli and Fulham - where Nasri has been anonymous, hmm.

Agree pal, some slapped arses.

Shall we remember that Barca bottled a 2 goal lead last week? Let's just beat Everton and make everything fine again!
