Fulham v City Post Match Discussion Thread

Re: Fulham v CityPost Match Discussion Thread

all came from their goal tbh. they got that lift. it was terrible defending. vinnys start to the season is another topic altogether. we were suddenly second best in everything. though nasri should have gone off instead of silva, as silva hold the ball well to take the pressure off. then when we went to 2-2, the poorish substitutions left us with no real shape to get back into it. the subs didnt cost us the points though, the performance of the lads on the field did. still as said above, a point at fulham in a normalish season would be a decent result, sadly its made to look worse by the rags steamrolling every fucker in sight.

Well fulham seem to be the come back kings against us... Think in a funny way that early goal by us spurred on fulham with let's go for it before we get dicked!

It's a good point in a way because our attitude and complacent needs to be addressed when leading that's why this early on in the league title race the rags look odds on with us second

taking silva off changed the game. roberto has to take the rap for this one
BS we were got killed in midfield

This defeat can ONLY be blamed on the players becuase they didnt fucking care in second half they should be shamed of themselves

to *ucking true the defending for the first goal was insane, what was Lescot doing so far to the left that Kompany ended up covering the left side of the box and Micah should be ashamed for the complete lack of urgency in getting across. If he would have moved a yard sooner, he would have blocked the shot. Shit, it would appear we are still in need of replacements. Missed Milner big time today

Disgusted with the result today. Did City learn anything from the Napoli game??

1. Far too many passes.
2. Shite substitutions.
3. WHERE THE F*** IS THE WINNING MENTALITY??

really annoyed after today, don't really want to add it but with the rags 3-0 after half time i think their on an invincibles run.. draws happen but just gotta hope they slip up at some point...hopefully when we play them!

This 2-0 lead then lose it better not be a frequent occurence....

I hate United with such a massive pashion but i so wish City had their mentality because we easily have the best squad in the PL!

Re: Fulham v CityPost Match Discussion Thread

I thought Dzeko should have been taken off. Hangeland had him dealt with in the air and there was no room inside on the ground.

Mario should have got a sniff at 60m. The Silva sub made little sense, we lost all creativity going forward.

Silva for player manager! :D

Can you *imagine* SAF taking Silva off for Zabaleta? In like a million years?
Like when he's taken Rooney of for Fletcher?

2-1 up at Fulham was it? I think not.

Re: Fulham v CityPost Match Discussion Thread

Absolutely gutted with that 2nd half, well the last 44min and 48 seconds of it.

Think the ref got the 2nd goal wrong Dzeko was definately fouled.

RM should never of took Silva off unless injured but Silva's reaction shows he wasn't.

The main gripe i have is with Yaya, our midfield was getting totally overrun and he went missing, he is not playing the same role as last year and need to be more responsible, we got over run because he didn't do his job.

I think he is an awesome player but sometimes his decision making is terrible.

Disappointed but this week has been a learning curve after a grueling game in the week. Most will get a good rest this week ready for next week.

Re: Fulham v CityPost Match Discussion Thread

Silva's face said it all... Exactly whoever said that..

Dzeko should have been pulled for Tevez at 65 minutes.

Mancini's defensive play has killed the golden game, when the fuck is he going to learn this.

At 77 min Torre or Barry should have been pulled for Milner to keep the central midfield fresh.. I know Milner was not even on the bench, but Yaya is not showing the some stamina he had last year, I have my doubts he should be playing as much as he is. I think resting him a lot more will work wonders, but who do we have to do this central job???>>>> Tevez, Kun, Nasri and Silva would have created the chances we needed.

BUT why fucking Zab, his shot at goal about 80 min told the whole story... Zab is not in this league of company now... farewell Zab, you've been a soldier, but time to move him out for good.
