"Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov will miss Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester City after sustaining an injury in training.

The Bulgarian will miss the next two weeks after sustaining a problem with his hip/upper thigh yesterday in the final shot of practice."

Good, not because i hate him but i was sure sod's law would strike (no, sods law doesn't track back so piss of smart arse :p )
 
No Dempsey, no Berbatov, and a midfield crisis. If we can't get three points there we really are in trouble.

Haha doesn't do much except stick the ball in the net but even so.. if ever there was a match he was going to score in, "Agent Berbatov" and all that shit.
 
Chance to end the Halsey league hoodoo as well, 8 losses in a row, 15 without a win (since 2005).

Good news. His goal threat was what I was most worried about considering our defensive troubles of late, plus a number of key midfielders are unavailable. Come on City!

To be fair I thought his performance for Spurs in the League Cup at Eastlands in 2007 was one of the best individual performances I've ever witnessed. Spurs were down to 10 men, yet City couldn't get the ball off him.

No doubt. But this is a seriously under strength Fulham team, and we're supposed to be better than a full strength Fulham team. We need three points from this game.

That Halsey stat is ridiculous too. How could we not have won with him in charge in 15 games?!
