Full Backs?

de Siglio from Milan is very good, proper italian defender. Can play both RB and CB. Young too.
 
Very few world class fullbacks about which is clearly the problem and you could argue has always been a problem, there has never been an abundance of quality fullbacks out there. If a club has them e.g Bayern/Real/Barca at one point and so forth then they don't want to lose them.

We will see Mendy over the line and I think a few more deals will be done quickly.

It will play out with us failing to buy two of them and relying on Fernandinho to rotate there with (hopefully) Walker.

The last team to buy a WC fullback was Barca, when they bought Dani Alves.

Simply put, world class fullbacks are made, not bought. The app we we get that, the better we'll be.

Most really good fullbacks ate purchased when they were ok young players and then developed into WC players.

So the notion that there are few WC fullbacks out there, misses the point. We want good FBs who we can makeep great.

Personally I would be very happy with Mendy and Bertrand for lb, with Walker for rb, and Fern and Maffeo as rb back ups (assuming Maffeo has not been committed to Girona yet?)

He really isn't, he can't attack at all and is extremely average defensively, he's like a worse Darmian. He can't play CB either, he can play both RB and LB. There's a reason Milan fans hope Juve buy him.

He's your typical English workhorse just like Milner and Jones, all players who can play in multiple positions but are not good enough to nail down that position permanently.

Last year I ve watched quit a few games and he was very good defensively. And he played CB as well.

And Fabio, the ex united player, was good whenever I watched him play for Boro.

You must have him mixed up with someone else because he did not play centerback even once, in fact he played almost exclusively on the left the past season. Trust me, I watch plenty of Milan and he's one of their weak links, they've already replaced him with Ricardo Rodriguez.
