Full Backs?

Wow you honestly think that?
Clearly I'm wrong as I think he's the worst player with the worst attitude for 3 seasons now, but somehow he keeps surviving.
People act like he's a disaster but i honestly don't remember him letting us down more often than some favourites. Even his biggest critics say he's had some amazing months when in form.

I know people don't necessarily like the sense of humour and can't stand him since whatever happened with the fans but genuinely i think he's been a good servant who's contributed very positively at times.

He was obviously told to prioritise attacking under pellegrini, at all costs, which is hardly surprising seeing as every player that wasn't a cb was.

Clichy, sagna and Zaba have all been incredibly patchy at times too, i feel our full back failings are a tactical issue as much as anything.

Once Zab and Sagna have gone, I'd love for Bellerin & Maffeo to be our two right back. They're both so suited to Pep's system

urgent left back needed

If kolorov ever plays a competitive match for us again someone needs shooting!

Over the moon kolarov is provingfor his worth to pep top pro considering every man and his dog want him slaughtered good luck too the lad still my favourite player ..F..the haters

Starting to look that way.

Peres and Rodriguez would have capped off a brilliant transfer window for me.

As much as I would have been happy to ship out half the squad for much needed fresh blood, we have to be realistic about how much upheaval any team can suffer in a single window. I imagine by this time next summer the team will look almost completely different, save for a handful of faces.

Clichy/Angelino and Sagna/Zabaleta would make me very happy.

Pep's fullbacks are odd - he tends to go for a winger type who will bomb up and down (Alves/Bernat), or for a more sensible withdrawn player (Rafinha/Abidal).

I think Clichy fits the Rafinha role perfectly, he's right footed so he will excel at stepping in to the midfield next to the defensive midfielder, and Angelino represents the other extreme - a young Dani Alves.

Both our RB's are more well rounded, and IMO will adapt to doing both roles if Necessary, and Sagna's ability to play CB means we could switch to a 3 at the back on the fly.

Zaba has seemingly been given Pep's approval and that's more than enough for me to accept a club legend staying.

My biggest priority regarding full backs now would be to push Kolarov out of the door.

Clichy is left footed though I think?
