Did he in fact have four days to purchase his seat?

Didn't read the thread in its entirety, so thought he wasn't given such an opportunity.

If so, that would just make him a 'moaning clown', otherwise, he has a point and my post stands.

He tried to purchase his seat 4 days after they went on sale. Then complained that City used to give SC holders a couple (usually 2) days grace. his point is moot. If he was that arsed, he would have bought his ticket when they went on sale, not left it a week. It's not like he gets paid weekly in cash. If he was a bloke, he would have just got on with it and sat within spitting distance of his normal seat.

His point isn't moot, unless there was a period for him to purchase his seat.

That's all I'm arsed about.

If there was, and he missed the boat, then he's a moaning tit. Otherwise, the club are out of order.

Clarity welcome.
Out of order why? It was made abundantly clear at the beginning of the season. Its not your seat (or his or anyones). You have the loan of it for 19 league matches. Why are you both so attached to your seats? If he was so attached to his seat, he would have tried buying it sooner than 4 days after sales commenced.

It's just moaning for the sake of it.

I can only presume some people have been in these seats for so long they've got a nice arse groove carved out which can only be properly appreciated by one's own arse.
You wouldn't understand you fucking stander you.

Because, in my opinion such an alteration would be symptomatic of the changes that were seen at Chelsea.

Symptomatic of the changes that we've seen here in respect of loyalty points, different echelons of season ticket holders, and the level 2 overhaul.

It would simply highlight yet more changes towards the cash before loyalty model we all fear we're adopting, or may begin to adopt. To strong arm blues towards the cup schemes (besides the already implemented 'incentives') would simply be another milestone.

This is about a lot more than a bloke who has developed an affection for a blue seat.

Strongarm them as the attendances was fucking awful in the home cup games. I'm glad the club are trying to do something that doesn't actually force people to join anything, unlike the rags.

And if you think people are being strong armed by actually not having the seat reserved for a day then...... well fuck me.

Ah, the good old days when away tickets were free and loyalty points were gained purely on the basis of travelling time and how loudly you sung. The days when those were the only factors involved considering petrol, car insurance and parking all used to be free or public transport, when that was free too.

You mention the Old Trafford model, but how long may it be until we adopt that?

Compulsory cup games?

As for the 'good old days' Skash, if the club continue to further sink into the mindset of seeing fans as cash-cows then it won't be long before the genuine 'good old days' are unattainable for a lot of blues who attended during the 'good old days' as mockingly put it.

But of course it's much easier to deride anyone who hold concerns about the club's new initiatives and apparent change in approach to the match going fans.

I could understand the resistance to these changes if we were owned by the Glazers and all of the extra money ended up in their back pocket.

But our owner is subsidising us to the tune of £150m a year. And he isnt even complaining about that. But its recognised that unless we eventually comply with FFPR all of the improvement we've seen recently will come to a shuddering halt.

We need to generate a helluva lot more money. Most of that will come from commercial activities. But getting more bums on seats is also fairly important.

No. It's much easier to moan as you are proving.

The total of:

Norwich, Ipswitch, Wimbledon, Palace, Pompey aways in 2001/02

Plus

West Ham, Soton, Spurs, Chelsea, Charlton 2002/03

= Same loyalty points as Reading Qtr at home 2010/11
