Why do people get sooo protective over sitting in 'their' seat. FFS live a little and sit one row behind :)

Agreed. I view the purchase of a season ticket without any cup schemes in effect a rental of the seat for the league games - the club still owns 'my' seat.

As a season ticket holder in this predicament I really enjoy getting a chance to enjoy different areas of the ground for Europe, view it as an opportunity!

No. Far better to have a good old moan and reminisce of the good old days under Swales, when the club properly cared about the fans.

Quality!!

I think it's worth remembering that not everyone is in a position to enable them to commit to every home game in a cup competition.

Be that due to the date of fixtures clashing with work or family commitments, or simply, because they can't afford to commit to an unknown number of games with City withdrawing money when they please.

It has nothing to do with loyalty for those people.

City always used to include a window to purchase your Seasconcard seat for a cup fixture, always, I know this as I used to purchase mine in the reservation window before I was able to commit to the Cup Scheme three years ago.

It isn't unreasonable to expect to be given an opportunity to purchase your regular Seasoncard seat for a cup game, and this simply strikes me as the club trying to strong arm more blues towards the Cup Schemes, and that, quite simply, stinks.

But it's nice to know that the old 'I'm alright Jack', knobhead attitude still perseveres with some blues.

Oh yeah, the "knobhead" attitude is definately not coming from those deeply upset and perturbed at having to sit 6 feet from their usual seat.

Course not. "Strong armed" my arse.

SWP-Stop being so hard on the people who can't be arsed listening/reading what the club says! It is all the clubs fault!

He had four days to get his seat , if he was so keen to get his own seat he would have got it within that time frame, stop moaning about it, before the season started all the ticket critea was explained so if he read he has no comeback, moaning clowns you and him.

'I'm abused by the club, I mean, I have to sit several yards away from MY SEAT. Wahhhhhhhh'.

Did he in fact have four days to purchase his seat?

Didn't read the thread in its entirety, so thought he wasn't given such an opportunity.

If so, that would just make him a 'moaning clown', otherwise, he has a point and my post stands.

-- Wed Nov 16, 2011 7:43 pm --

Errr, did you read my post?

I'll be in my usual spot, due, no less, to being in the Cup Scheme.

But that wouldn't stop me having an opinion on the club removing a window for Seasoncard holders to purchase their usual seat, if in fact they did so.

But maybe I'm an exception in being capable of recognising that what might suit me doesn't suit everyone?

He tried to purchase his seat 4 days after they went on sale. Then complained that City used to give SC holders a couple (usually 2) days grace. his point is moot. If he was that arsed, he would have bought his ticket when they went on sale, not left it a week. It's not like he gets paid weekly in cash. If he was a bloke, he would have just got on with it and sat within spitting distance of his normal seat.

His point isn't moot, unless there was a period for him to purchase his seat.

That's all I'm arsed about.

If there was, and he missed the boat, then he's a moaning tit. Otherwise, the club are out of order.

Clarity welcome.
