GAA

Limerick are simply awesome.
I know we used to say that about Kilkenny at one point in time, but I think this Limerick team have really pioneered a new close passing game to get them out of any situation with composure.

Cork are a good team but they are taking a drubbing here.
Some of the point taking is incredible. They just pass until the free man is found and any one of them can Put it over the bar from their own half.
Awesome first half display.

Get a little tasty now. Cork getting frustrated and getting more involved with the man than the ball. It happens.
A few yellows being handed out to both sides.

That’s two in a row for Limerick.
They are on a different level at the moment.
They won the first Liam McCarthy cup in 1921 and have won the 2021 final in some style.

This sounds really strange, but I think there are too many scores in hurling these days
I couldn’t get into the hurling that much this year
It’s got like basketball
No tactics really, you score we score

Q: Where did it all go wrong?
A: Everywhere. Shite!

They’re not wrong in the analysis though.
Limerick are there for a while, I think. It’s not that cork are a bad team. Limerick were just at another level and currently are streets ahead of the rest of the country.
They have put a great foundation in from schools all the way up through the age groups. They are reaping dividends now.

See where you’re coming from but that Limerick side van hurl too. Physical beasts with a great skill level. They’ll win another couple on the bounce for sure.
