Not sure I'd call THAT a brawl, to be honest. More a case of handbags!
To be fair, you didn't help yourselves on saturday evening.....View attachment 23729
Being a Dub in Ireland is the perfect training for being a City supporter too.
You get the same vitriol from the rest of the country.

You have fantastic players; why did you feel the need to resort to that nonsense? There's at least two, probably three, red cards in there.
There's no county that's whiter than white Eamo. No, not even Mayo. It's just the number of cheap shots that took place during that game that was an eye opener. You could/should have easily ended up with three red cards. And I somehow doubt that Lane will be getting the final, considering the slaughtering he's received. As for Farrell, I see he's being compared unfavourably to Jim Gavin. Perhaps a bit unfair, given that Gavin was a brilliant manager. But Farrell seemed to have no idea how to get the momentum back in extra time. Will he get another year?Jim I’ll not defend any of it from Saturday. I think it’s the end of an era with that team and they know it.
Im not convinced by Dessie Farrell but don’t claim to know anything about the inner workings of the Dublin hierarchy. A rebuild will be required though, I feel and no guarantee they’ll be back for a while.
But regarding vitriol to Dubs in general. It’s worse some places than others, but it doesn’t take much to get an ABD reaction around the country.
It is what it is. But the rest of the country is not whiter than white.
I have no idea regarding Farrell. Maybe he needs time to put his own stamp on the team, but as you keep pointing bout regarding last Saturday, if that’s his stamp, we’ll I don’t see the board wanting a decade of good work unravel so quickly. There's no county that's whiter than white Eamo. Agreed. Last weekend will mean next to nothing if we can't take that final step. It's enjoyable for now, but it'll fade from the memory if we lose on Sept 11th.I have no idea regarding Farrell. The way I see it, the Gavin teams dealt with all kinds of unsavouriness in their time and held it together with composure. They could handle most situations and let the football do the talking.
The board will want that brand back.
Like I’ve said before, I have absolutely no inside track there. It’ll be interesting to see what unfolds though.
Regarding Mayo however. It was a massive boost, but they need to keep their eyes on the real prize of the final and get over it quickly.
You cannot dine out on a semi-final victory.
