I don't think he did himself any favours by starting so explosively because that was never going to sustain itself, but he's clearly at a difficult stage of his career and isn't quite managing to find his feet and decide what kind of striker he is. He just needs to calm down a little and it'll come. This season will be a tough one for him personally but he'll finish it with 15-16 goals and hopefully be a little more settled for the 19/20 season. We've had this problem with Iheanacho in the past where he could never quite pin down the type of striker he was and ended up trying to hard, which meant he was unable to hold down a place in the squad. What Jesus brings to the team's overall play is valuable so he has more in the bank with Pep than Kelechi ever did, but in front of goal is where he needs to tighten the screws a bit - I'm sure it'll come because he's a talented young man but that doesn't mean he doesn't need to put the work in.
