Makes runs that our players just don’t see. Our back four were more bothered about showboating long passes across the pitch to Raheem and Leroy yesterday when Jesus was making runs into clear space and not being passed to.

He worked his socks off yesterday, was even covering st left back at times for their counter-attacks.

Young lad, bright future. The youngest #9 at any big club in Europe, in fact the youngest #9 at any big club since Higuain was playing for Madrid at 21 nine years ago.
Makes runs they don’t see?!? So it’s everyone else’s fault that he never presents a threat? Do you honestly watch him and go wow what a talent? When did you see him terrorise a defence? Do you honestly believe opposite centre halves worry about him playing?

How do you define a number 9?

Yeah when Aguero came on and touched the ball about twice on 40mins it really showed us how poor Jesus was.
To be fair I don’t think he had much service yesterday, prior to Kevin entering the arena we were doing a lot of hoof ball. I don’t think that’s the lads type of game. Hopefully will get better

Jesus has gone backwards since arriving, unfortunately. I think a reason for that is a lack of playing time. He was deadly when taking over Aguero's place last year. I'm just waiting for Jesus to have the same development as Sterling because he exploded in recent years.

7 goals and 2 assists in 1200 minutes, not bad for a 21 year old, keep at it young un and they'll start flying in for you soon.

We can afford to be patient with Jesus as long as we recruit a world class striker. He has not showed us that he is the much needed replacement of Aguiero. Aguiro is a club legend but he is aging; thus, his replacement has to be on par with his ruthlesness and efficiency, Jesus is not there yet. Very poor headers, lack of scoring instinct. He undeniably works his socks off, yet that is not enough. He is a center forward and his role is to get on the score sheet on regular basis knowing that he is being surrounded by world class play makers. The clock is ticking to recruite another striker, in the meantime I hope that tiredness will not get the better of Sergio.

Wouldn't blame either striker as the service to them was nonexistent. When he put Aguero on tho we lost any balance that we had. Again not Aguero's fault either
