Yeap, totally agree and by the time he put Mahrez on I was hoping it'd be for Jesus to see if Mahrez could do anything in the number 10 role. Sterling had been quiet but still shouldn't have been subbed for me. He absolutely skinned 2 or 3 just before he got subbed and the only way through was going to be from out wide. Once Mahrez came on we just had him and Bernado on the right mainly, neither of them had the pace to get outside the fullbacks. So were knocking aimless balls in 30 yards from byline.

That was my point. Our play and Palace's defensive set-up meant there was very little our strikers could do but people think it was because Gabby isn't very good. The fact that Aguero came on and did virtually nothing should show that it's due to the aforementioned reasons and using the game as a stick to beat Jesus with is stupid.

But it's not just this game.

And it's not just at City - it's at Brazil too.

Jesus is obviously a hugely talented footballer.

Yet - it's still open to debate whether or not he'll become a world-class striker.
