He played great, ran their defence ragged and battled his nads off.Half the reason we got 7 was his tireless energy that helped keep them on the back foot and created space for others.

A real handful who will be wonderful when his game matures and completes.

A bit like Gundogan last season and Sterling the one before, I'm starting to get a feeling some posters actively want him to fail just so that they can be right in saying so.

Fortunately, they're a minority with Jesus.

ps. We were all (rightly) praising Bernardo to high heavens the other day for his effort alone. We should be quick to praise others for the same. So well done Jesus for not giving up. He obviously can be better, but he's also clearly trying so he deserves our patience.

Feel sorry for him,he’s had it tough, you can see he is trying too hard,it will come sooner or later keep it up Gabby lad.

Sadly I agree.

He didn’t run anyone ragged mate that’s just cobblers. He missed 4 sitters.

Good job this is a forum, good job our opinions are generally nonsense & more importantly totally ignored by anyone of any relevance.

How can people not see the pattern? Gundogan, Mahez, Jesus & Danilo. All regularly slated for below par performances.
Spot the common denominator? All subs. Non getting a regular run of games.

Yet, as Jesus has previously and latterly Danilo have proved, given a run of games they’re exceptional players.

Aguero has just shown, he’s been out a few weeks, he came back and was utter shite for a couple of games. Yet given a couple of games on the spin, was then excellent vs Liverpool.
Silva, our best ever player has looked a little off the pace since his return. It happens to all players.

It seems especially with Jesus that he’s not afforded the same period of leeway that day Aguero or say Sané are.

It seems fairly well accepted that Aguero needs a couple of games to get up to speed. I’m cool with that. Why do we expect Jesus to just come in and be at his peak? It’s a laughable case of double standards.
Did you see the chances he missed? That’s the issue and that’s nowt to do with fitness I think all 4 were in the 6 yard box.

It must be a mentality issue as he’s getting into the correct positions to get the chances but just not being clinical.

You really can’t miss 3 sitters like he did in the first half, just not acceptable however well he played.

‘Fitness’ was never once mentioned.

I saw Aguero missing the actual ball vs Leicester. That’s the point. All, well nearly all players need a run of games to get up to speed or rather in their ‘groove’.
