‘Fitness’ was never once mentioned.

I saw Aguero missing the actual ball vs Leicester. That’s the point. All, well nearly all players need a run of games to get up to speed or rather in their ‘groove’.
He plays football everyday you know?
He shouldn't be missing the sitters and tap ins that he does.
He's unfortunate in as much as he's referred to as a striker, when in effect he's a bloody excellent hard working decoy. It's the inexplicable misses that cause such consternation.

Aguero did not miss chances like that against Leicester mate. And there’s a big difference between Leicester and Rotherham.

Seems the go to defence of him is to mention his work rate - which is admittedly laudable and worthy of praise.
Until he becomes a lot more clinical with the chances given to him then he’ll receive criticism from some quarters.
Personally I’m happy with his development so far and we will see the best of him in time.

Work rate isn’t enough on it’s own. Every player (well most) in our team has phenomenal work rate combined with ultimate skill in their position.

It’s not just the missed chances. It’s the complete lack of threat he poses. Look at Aguero - he runs at defenders, beats them, scares them to death. Do you think jesus scares defenders? He certainly isn’t a lone striker.

He’s been off form for months now, and every time he takes a step forward (hat trick in CL, and Everton) he seems to take a step back the next game.

Remember this is a defence who are 21st in the Championship.

His form/ability is becoming a real concern for a top club. Sané, a year older, was SO much further ahead this time last year.

He didn’t run anyone ragged mate that’s just cobblers. He missed 4 sitters.

Nah,youre talking shit.He missed a couple of chances that a bit more concentration and luck would solve, but overall his game was great.Such an unselfish, honest, hardworking and talented player,a combination that's very hard to find.

Sorry can’t agree he missed 4 sitters and they didn’t require luck. Think they were all in the 6 yard box under no pressure. How many times did he beat his defender? How many assists did he get with this unselfish masterclass of work rate you saw? I barely saw him get on the pal let alone run anyone ragged. If he didn’t play for us you wouldn’t rate him and would be slaying him for missing those chances.

100%. If anyone rated that performance they are doing so purely out of blind loyalty and a will for him to do well.

Everyone wants him to do well, but today is another game to add to the list of poor performances.
