Gabriel Jesus rejects new contract offer - The Times

Gabriel is a very good player, I would prefer him to Lukaku all day, the £75m price for that guy was way over.
You look at Naymar who again is over priced and doubt would suite PL, the daft money for Dembele at 20yrs old, Mbappe ridiculous money talk, we actually pound for pound got a very good player. It is unfair to say he is way behind those players, he is not. If you look at his games played for goals and assist his record is very good. Gabriel is a great finisher, put him one on one with a keeper under pressure and there are not many strikers as cool headed as him.

If pep strengthens this summer and Gabriel stays fit all season watch him go.
The price for Lukaku was £90m. The £75m is the initial fee and £15m 'easily achievable' add ons. They also got Rooney, notionally valued at £10m on a free so some people described the transfer fee as worth £100m

Are you talking about Jesus ?? he is absolutely nowhere near that kind of price tag

I don’t want to but I have to agree, he has a long way to go yet. I hope he does it soon because in this league you don’t get long.

I just don't see what all the fawning over him is. carries little or no threat too often. Still has an awful lot to prove to be considered world class.

I will jog your memory, 19 premier league goals in 37 matches. 20 years old. Lone front man often against 3 central defenders , get a grip man.

Hardly a fantastic return considering the amount of chances we create in every game. ball bounces of him far to often when it really should be sticking. Anyway be interesting to see how he performs at the world cup.

I’d not build a team around Jesus. Like many Brazil internationals, he’s drawn towards representing his country more than European footballers are.

A fully fit Aguero starts for me each time. He’s adapted well to Pep’s system after looking like he might move on.

Call it instinct but I don’t think Jesus will be here on a long term basis. Tevez was replaced and he can be too.

Has really not looked great since returning from most recent injury. Touch and rhythm totally off. Think he will get it back with some confidence after a strong World Cup.

Christ on a stick.

I’m so glad I am not you. I can’t imagine it is very fun being a City fan in your shoes.
