He looks an astonishing talent from the videos. I appreciate that's not the best way to judge a player, but his speed, technique and balance are things that you can't spruce up on a video.

The most excited I've been for a City signing since Aguero.

Thank you, I hope he joins after the season is finished. He did leave it open that he could stay and play in the Copa Libertadores which means we wouldn't see him till next summer. But I hope in the conversation with Pep, Pep convinced him to join in January.

I'm not really sure what you mean by KDB jumping ahead of him? You think KDB will get ousted from the number 10 position by Gabriel Jesus?

I doubt that very much. For starters - De Bruyne is a better finisher than Sané and Jesus put together. Thats not belittling them, De Bruyne's finishing is as good as anyone's - hence his 17 goals last season despite moving to a new club, being shifted around by Pellegrini, and being in a team which really wasn't clicking offensively. With Pep coming in and a year of experience here, I wouldn't be surprised if Kev scored 25 goals in all competitions.

And lets not forget that Guardiola was a driving force behind us spending £54 million on KDB last summer - you think he's immediately decided he's not up to scratch anymore and is going to bench him???

I'm saying I would put Gabriel Jesus as the false 9 or ST ahead of KDB if needed. KDB should get us goals from midfield. Jesus has 10 in 15 games so far and 15 in all comps this year.

Yup we can considering he will play with the national team in the olympics as well. I guess we will have an idea by January considering he isn't coming here till then no matter what.

If we do sign him, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go out on loan in the same way that Roberts has.

January 2017 to July 2018 at some La Liga side like Celta Vigo or Real Betis.
