Gabriel Jesus

Fucking hell what a deal, beating all top clubs basically to him. Also its not easy to sign South Americans who are big prospect as they very often head to Real or Barca.

Like what Sheikh and everyone else in the club is saying. We're building an empire, its going to be huge!

Hilarious picture of Txiki.

So of all the people he could of asked about, sane, kroos, stones, bonucci.... He asked him about Gabriel Jesus what a sausage

Of all the things you could flap about, you flap about that?

We know Sane and Stones are coming. Kroos and Bonucci are longshots and even Txiki is unlikely to know if we'll ultimately get them. Gabriel Jesus has the potential to be better than any of those players, think about that.

I know it might be a while before we see some of these signings, but I have a feeling I've not had since the summer we signed Aguero. We really needed a lift this summer. Something exciting to freshen the squad up. We could have some serious pace in the squad if these signings come off. And I pray that Angelino and/or Maffeo replace Kolarov and/or Zab to further add to the youth and vibrancy of the team. It's flipping exciting!

I was pretty sure he wouldn't come to us considering his clause for 4 teams and the interest from so many teams. Its still just one report but if true we have signed the next big thing is football period. I am extremely excited for this kid along with Moreno. He definitely has a higher peak than Martial from what I have seen.

Not meaning too be cheeky but how much of this lad have you seen?

That's what I'd have thought initially, but it seems to be the plan for Marlos Moreno who the likes of Tim Vickery rate higher than Gabriel.

I would say Jesus is ahead of Moreno. Moreno is very raw while Jesus is alot more consistent at this stage.

Met Txiki in Munich airport. Asked him if Gabriel Jesus was coming. He said: "he's coming he's coming don't worry"

Why the 2nd coming?

So Moreno and Zinchenko to go out on loan, Sané to come in immediately, with Jesus to join in Jan? Something like that? Need to get shifting out some foreigners to make space pronto!

Zinchenko seems to be staying in the squad. Wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't in the CL squad thought

Wow I didn't expect us to go in for him that strongly let alone beat Barca to him. Moreno and G. Jesus? That might be a very tasty combination in the future. :)

Does that mean the Sane deal is off? To be honest I'm glad the club has stuck to their guns and not paid more than what they felt the player was worth. For everyone bleating about it's not our money, the club has stated they are asking at least £11million higher than what they value him at. Either of the above could end up much better players, they are just as young and just as promising. Now we are in a stronger position to negotiate because we have back ups.

Potentially. Not that I know the club's intentions, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're holding off making a decision whilst they get a closer look at him in pre-season. It may be that he goes out on loan later in the window, especially if Sané and Jesus come in. It might be better for him to get regular football. Unless Pep's comments on Sané should be taken more literally than I first thought. Or unless Zinchenko is to be used in another position (but he would surely have used him there v Bayern if that was the case)

Absolutely buzzing! holy shit 'the pep factor' is legitimate! Any of our ITKs have anything to add? Ric was saying he wasn't expecting it to happen recently.

Who does Lucas Moura play for now?

I recall that he had a similar reputation prior to completing his big money move to PSG.

Well I actually saw him for the first time in the U-20 world cup last year and he was raw but had an eye for dribbling. I get a lot of Brazilian football replays and I manage to catch quite a few games since the timings work out well and this season he has been on fire. Luckily the commentary is in English and they speak very highly of this lad. The other one is Gabriel Barbosa and he is definitely more polished considering he has played a way more matches than Jesus. That said Jesus seems to have more potential and the ball just sticks to his feet. He loves running at defenders. Not saying I have seen every game he has played but I have probably seen 90 mins of around 10 games he has been involved in. He is raw but that is only because he lacks a bit of experience but there is a reason Pep and Txiki are paying 30 million pounds.
