Kolarov was one of the only players who looked like doing something in this game tonight. His actual crossing was below par, and usually it's a lot better but he did make some good forward runs. Not sure why he's getting so much heat tonight.
Gelsons Dad said:I don't think either were the reason for our performance tonight. I actually thought Kolarov did ok. At least he was trying to get forward and do something. It was clear that Yaya was knackered, Sergio is not fully recovered and until the goal Tevez did most things wrong. Nasri was Nasri which doesn't help when Milner isn't on the pitch.

Opinions, opinions.
I think the 2 of them, plus Micah, were the main reason behind our shite performance.
Of course we were tired, however Garcia and AK were supposed to be two of our "fresh" players to come in and work hard and get about the pitch. They were shite which resulted in our other players having to attempt to compensate for the equivalent of playing with 9 men. We didn't have the gas in the tank to carry them. IMO, of course. ;-)

We desperately need a creative midfielder, someone who can hold possession and find the killer ball, when Silva doesn't play we lose our creativity, we become too predictable.
Blue Haze said:Neither are good enough. Staggering that we paid 32m combined for that, we won't get half of it back.

Best header of the ball at City, Best tackler. Doesn't give the ball away. Reads the game really well. Can play central defence as well as anyone.
In a game where we are struggling to break down the opposition, you don't need a sitting midfielder. That's the issue. Not his quality.
Clowns :-)
