Gareth Bale part 2.

Does anyone know if clubs benefit directly from shirt sales or is this a myth?

Not sure If they get royalties or just indirect benefit through sponsorship deals.
There's no hard and fast rule, but iirc it's generally royalties outside of the clubs official shop and online store and it increases sponsorship attractiveness.

If we sell three million shirts a year on average , that's three million walking adverts for Etihad which increases our sponsorship value and so on.

All said and done, Real are going to have to sell a shit load of Monkey Boy shirts to put a dent in a £90m fee..... Their marketing team would have to start being very inventive by getting the film studio who make the next installment of the Planet of the Apes or Jumbo the Elephant to sponsor Bale, stuff like that.

BREAKING: SkySports news say that Spurs are considering offers for more than one club for Bale-Nik

could it be the rags ??

If it was us he'd just choose Madrid.

Fkn better not be us, he is worth not even half of the reported fee.

just a way of pushing madrid to put up or shut up coz they will be pissing about with payment structures or fudging figures , if any other club were interested wether utd , us , chelsea ...he wouldnt go, his heart set on madrid

I suspect its the Rags even though they can't afford him............now then Gareth, who do you want to be playing with, Ronaldo, Isco, Khedira, Alonso.................or Anderson, Carrick, Cleverley and old man Giggs?!!!!
