No idea if he/she is itk but anyone who posts roughly every 600 days must certainly choose their posts carefully.

white? Spurs, Madrid(Higuain, Di Maria), Juve(technically, Vidal?), Valencia(Soldado), Santos, Atl. Miniero(Bernard), Lyon...

Could be a number of teams...

But only a few players out there that are a major coup. Can't think of any besides Ronaldo and Bale.

Depends on how you view football outside of your knowledge of City. All of the players above are of a great calibre and would be a very good signing, and depending on the interest of other clubs or just managing to agree a sale it would be seen as a coup by those who appreciate world football and aren't screaming and whining for a Galactico every 10 seconds.

Think we should all calm down. Imagine how disappointed we'll be when Kevin Davies is unveiled.

but this isn't just about a "very good signing," it's about a marketing asset and a statement of intent. ronaldo or bale are the only ones that fit that

For me a coup is relative to the clubs current standing. Those all would have been coups a couple years ago. I personally only consider the Robinho and Tevez signings as coups. At this point we are at the table with the big boys. All those players are fantastic, but not club changing.

-- Tue Jul 02, 2013 2:58 pm --

City have lost interest in Cavani and won't be black mailed, by any club into paying inflated fees anymore. It's common knowledge around the club, that Cheeky and John ( Mcbeath ) have been working on the finances, of a major coup concerning one player. Nobody but the powers that be, know who this player is. What we do know, it's not Rooney Cavani or Lewandowski

One member of the staff was given a major hint, when he was told the players clubs home kit is White.
