You really think Rooney would want to play for Tottenham? They could never afford Rooney's wages and Rooney wouldn't want to be replaced by Bale to just head to Tottenham playing Europa League football. Not in a million years. If Rooney is leaving, he's off to Chelsea which means United would then have to pay 60+ for Bale. Spurs couldn't even afford Nani's wages.Caveman said:Spurs need a striker though, and can offer Rooney plus £30m...which they can afford.citizens_1976 said:They can't afford a transfer fee of 60+ million. What are they going to do? ''Have Nike help fund the deal for them'' again. Bullshit. Fabregas is a no-go either. Moyes should stick to realistic targets like Fellaini and Baines and stop wasting valuable time trying to attract unattainable targets, whilst very decent players are transferred to other clubs. Could really backfire on Moyes and United.samharris said:Do you really think the scum would be the only club at the table ??
no?? neither do I.

Spot on.Glauber Berti said:United are not in for either Cesc or Bale, they won't even increase their offer for Baines so what makes anyone in their right mind think that they'll buy even one of the aforementioned it's just all media hype to detract away from the fact that
- Ferguson has gone and the club have appointed gollum
- Thiago SNUBBED them
- Rooney is on his way
it is plain to see that united are on the decline and they're just trying to mask it by making up Bulls**t that both the Rags and the Rag-tops lap up like a cat to fresh milk.
you're better off believing any of the numerous 'twitter itk's' pre-pubescent teenagers who gain notoriety and status from posting recycled gossip on twitter that all have names along the lines of 'UndercoverITK_Legit7" or 'Transfer_ScoopYOLOSWAG' than any of that drivel that comes from the rags media mouthpiece
