All the Rags I have spoken to have been banging on about the return of Ronaldo and they all seem to think Nike will be paying his wages.

Surely Nike will want City to be in for a major signing for there shiny new kits.

Being a blue I always have hope, more realistic these days though.

if i could choose one player in the world apart from messi and ronaldo it would be bale at the moment. i think he's incredible.

i don't expect to get him though.

With the management we now have throughout the club I expect a big signing be it Bale I don't know but Nike and are owners would like to make a statement of intent.

Nike didn't want to be kit suppliers to the Garcia, Sinclairs of this world (no disrespect) but players of the stature of Aguero, Yaya, Silva etc and at least a signing of this size will be made.

The United/Nike/Ronaldo/wages story was put to bed a long time ago. it wasn't even spoken about at the United/Nike meeting.

Nike would love to portray a big signing sponsored/paid by their rival with their logo splashed all over the photo shoot of his arrival

IMO all depends on whether Spuds get CL next season if they don't there will be a mad scamble and auction for his signature. What was it they quoted 100m.

City - whether we have the clout and can afford him although we will make FFPR etc we still need to trim the wage bill I believe this is one signing too far, but if we did sign him we would regain Prem title. I am sure Chelsea and rags will view it in exactly the same way. As for PSG another step to European glory for RM they will overhaul Barca and dominate Spain.

offers a lot that we are missing. Quality crosses, great long shot, can play left or center (maybe even middle?), great set pieces and a lot of pace. Not sure about the price though, would be fantastic signing though and solve a lot of problems we have.
