Gareth Bale

Madrid can't afford him, they still owe us money for Modric.

Real Madrid can afford anyone, they're Real Madrid and they always find a way (they also have monster revenues to bypass FFP restrictions). Their net spend is also -£7million so far this summer despite them splashing out on Illarramendi and Isco. Napoli have given them over £50million for three players already and if they know they can sign Bale, they will probably cash in on one of their quality attacking midfielders.

Getting rid of Kaka will help them in particular due to amortisation costs. If Ancelotti can get him performing then Real Madrid are laughing. I do expect thought that he will be sold in Jan.

Player amortisation is an untreatable condition existing solely in Prestwich Blue's head.

remember hearing somewhere that they get a ridiculous amount of money every season for there old training ground

Yes and they are actually under investigation over that now finally.

The government bought back Land from them for absolutely ridiculous amounts of money.

Tancredi quoting AS in Spain.

The market has gone insane of Bale goes for that, not a chance is he worth that.

Tancredi Palmeri ‏@tancredipalmeri 8m

Tottenham would open talks for Bale with Real Madrid only for a price around 120m €, according to tomorrow edition of spanish As

Tancredi Palmeri ‏@tancredipalmeri 6m

The 120m € for Bale could be cut including Di Maria in a trade, according to As (so anyway would be needed some 90m €)

I'm betting on a pirlo like kaka renaissance. Stunning player at his best. If spurs could get him in a swap +50m or so that'd be some deal. Same goes for Di Maria

Bullshit story. Why would Di Maria or Kaka move to a club without Chanpions League football in a World Cup year. FFS stop buying these bullshit stories.

Nobody is "buying" these stories fella.

They are just discussing this shit, if that's ok with you.

Did I offend you? You seem awfully offended at a post that wasn't directed at anyone. Rather these twitterati's and there followers who actually buy into this non-sense. It would mean literally nothing to me if there wasn't a profit to be made by the scum news sources who peddle it.

Get a grip, son.

Can't see it myself.
Kaka's game was built around his explosive burst of pace and injury has removed that .

I could see Kaka going to a club without CL but not DiMaria unless no one else is interested in him at whatever price RM place on him and he's offered huge wages to compensate.

I'd have thought that the only players to go to Spurs (or Liverpool if they sell Suarez) are players from non CL teams, from teams in mid tier leagues or players who are struggling to make regular starts in top teams in te CL (even then only if a top CL teams isn't willing to offer a chance). That limits the players a team in Spurs position (or Liverpool) ... Unless of coarse that you offer huge wages to the player and have a project that makes future CL participation more likely.

I can't remember which players we got prior to being in the CL that were not from one of te scenarios above.

My thinking is that Spurs have waited too long to sell Bale. They'd be under fierce pressure to spend any profit now. Better to instead hold onto him and build a real challenge for 3rd.

what the actual.....

Gareth Bale: "I'm not interested in Manchester United or any other club, I only want to play for Real Madrid." (Marca)

I know Madrid have no mercy but he surely wouldn't have said this.

That has "fake Twitter quote" written all over it to be honest. Can't see anything on Marca's headlines either.

David Silva? Valencia had qualified for the CL when he signed for us and another CL side - Real Madrid (surprise!) - tried to hijack the deal at the last minute.

He's still got amazing vision and technique though. He used to have great stamina too. Zidane, Bergkamp, Van Persie etc would lose a lot of races.

We offered him a nice payroll, I don't think spurs are offering such thing... That's why they're only bringing in the likes of Depmsey (last year) and Chadli..
