We shouldn't have to justify why we rate Gareth Barry to anyone - especially other City fans.

I think he started the season very impressively, and was very good against Pompey, but I think he's tailed off a bit lately, particularly in derby, he seemed well of the pace then.

Not the best thing since sliced bread but certainly not bad.

But really, do we need threads like this and the one on Santa Cruz? I mean these players have only been around for five min utes, let's cut them some slack. Especially since against Villa Barry had a stiff back and Santa Cruz was playing with vision only in one eye, aren't we going to allow for these things to affect performance?

Let's have a bit less of the knee-jerk reaction. The people in charge of our club have, and now it's about time some of our supporters follow suit.

I've been to every game so far this season apart from monday night barry has been class. His passing and crossing have been top notch. his tackling and box to box runs have been a joy to watch.
