Garry Cook resigns (merged)

Re: Garry Cook resigns

I don't think anyone on this forum will actually know just how good cook was at his job, but the one thing that is for certain is that ADUG will no doubt be looking for some one of the highest quality perhaps even better than cook.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

Those calling for Laporta should probably do some research into the financial dire straits Barca were in when he was finally left.

If rags had ever resigned when they dropped a bollock p[enty would have left that shit hole

Yes but too many in here seem to want us to adopt the same sort of stance as the rags which pisses me off no end. Assuming Cook lied about sending it he was always a dead man walking. He did a good job overall but a CEO can't be seen to be trying to dodge blame.

If he'd held his hands up at the outset he could have survived this. It doesn't sound like the 'my account has been hacked story' held water - and that's is probably what undid Cook - if that is the case he has shown pretty awful judgement and has played into the hands of those out to get him - but believe me these vermin will not stop with Cook. Interesting to see whether Marwood goes aswell.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

He was a great guy to me. Went out of his way to ask me about how I became a fan of the club and offered to take a picture with me without even asking. I personally think we are losing a good man that made a mistake. Good luck Garry.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

Cook had to go, end of. We know all those who assisted in his departure didn't do it for the good of the club, so fuck them and cut all ties. As for that prick with the broken leg, I hope I don't bump into him tomorrow, or in the near future, as the players tunnel wont be much use to him.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

And yes I am sat here fuming over the treatment of Garry Cook.

Calm down son.

This is not fbloke's fault.

Khaldoon and The Sheikh fired Garry Cook. And he gaffed himself onto the dole queue.

Ding Ding Cookie...here comes the chuck bus

"Qucik Brian, there's a seat here for you too...."

Re: Garry Cook resigns

Goodbye Garry, thanks for the drive.

I wonder if who we pick as our next appointment would be genuinely explosive news.

Re: Big battle for power on the horizon now

We don't want a blue as CEO. We want a business man with a passion for success not emotionally tied. It is the fans job to act with irrational emotion about the club they love and it is the boss’s job to be passionate about success.

Remember the great job Franny Lee did?

I think Cook is a loss to the club, he made a mistake that most people have done in sending the e-mail and a bigger one in denying it.

The next bloke will do an even better job, as long as he is not a fan.
