This David Potts guy was mentioned by the Independent when this first broke earlier in the week, and again in that story this afternoon.
Given the there was already a thread on here during the summer concerning talk about Cook resigning and going to live in America anyway, it seems this guy might have already been the subject of some discreet discussions?
Not sure how I'd feel about Dein or Kenyon.
I still don't think Kenyon is a blue by the way, DD.

Why don't some 'get it?'
This isn't about Cooks departure as such, its the fact that the scum press, and those behind it, have driven it.

I'm a bit confused about what you'd expect the press to do with a story like this? Keep it quiet to spare GC's feelings?

Moomba, I'm not thick. Of course the press would run with it. My post clearly points to the motivations behind why it was 'sat on' and the driving forces behind it.

Sorry but with the backing we have had I don't think he can take much credit for the success we have come into.

What he done is inexcusable and the real victims here are Nedum and his family,

He is more like the out of the box thinking I'm hoping for, but I really hope it isn't him. He doesn't have the right experience in the kind of areas I think our CEO will need as far as I can see.

She was acting as a football agent dealing with a athlete worth millions, getting payed hundreds of thousands of pounds. How does her illness have any bearing on Nedums dealings with the club.
She was unprofessional more bringing it up than Cook was having a prod at his mate.
Lets face facts it was hardly that offensive.
Maybe if he made a Bernard Manning Roy Castle style joke I could understand this.

I've had a family member die of cancer and 1 I visit 3 times a week because they can't leave their bed due to cancer. Neither of them would use their cancer to gain sympathy/money in the way Nedums mum has.

Yes cook was wrong and probably right to resign but she is pathetic and far worse than cook, for using her illness like that.

WTF? Are you for real? "Using her illness?"
She received an email playing down her situation and that is "using her illness?"

She has cancer? Ever lost someone to it? Or seen the damage it can do to a family/person?
Grow the fuck up.
Cook was a wanker and he deserves nothing but a kick up the hole on the way out.
