I said in my original point that that's as strange as supporting a team in red from Old Trafford, poking fun at the fact that it's flawed logic.
You think others have the flawed logic here? Can you tell me which county cricket team is more local than Lancashire to Mancunians?

you don't get it.

TFS says I have to support Lancashire as I live in Manchester, so on that basis no non-Mancunians can support City.

That is flawed.

So I poked fun by saying it's just as flawed to hate a red team from Old Trafford if they play football but to support one if they play cricket.

it's flawed.

Regardless of the alleged gaffs he has made lets all remember that the team put out today with those fantastic players, the CL night next week, FA cup, some of the fnancial sponsorship deals, city in the community and city square and other improvememts for us the fans were all done on his watch

ty you cookie for all you have done i and i suspect may others fans are also sad to see you go

As I understand it, and as you just stated - you did use the word 'local' in your last post perhaps unwittingly, they're arguing you should support your local team, not the Mancunian team, the local team. People from Burnley should support Burnley etc. But that doesn't extend county cricket where the local team for Burnley folk and Mancunians alike is Lancashire. So there's no issue in supporting a Lancashire-wide cricket team even if you adopt their logic; their logic is self-consistent. Disagree with it all you want, I'll join you, but their logic is not faulty of itself. You have not exposed a self-contradiction as you seem to think.

but the whole point is that they don't want non-mancunians supporting City then?

As I said, argue that all you want and I'll back you. It's possible that in their world I'm not welcome as a non-Mancunian - though they could let me off as I'm a blue through me da who became a City fan whilst living in Hulme as a young lad. I don't really care if other blues think I'm not welcome though.

well that's what I was arguing, and was just poking fun at TFS because of the way he was having cheap digs that it's funny how he hates United but can love Lancs who are just down the road, pretty irrelevant point.

Fact is if you then say it's ok for non-mancs to support City, it's ok for me to support Surrey. If others are adamant that only mancs can support City, then they can have their opinion, but I find it ridiculous.

give over.

For me this should have been dealt with in house months ago, apologies made and differences settled.

Then some shithole newspaper runs with the story.

We've lost a key player here, and also a Fans man.

Good Luck Mr Cook, and thanks for everything you've done for the club
