Garry Cook resigns (merged)

Re: Garry Cook resigns

i thank you for the work you did for us garry.
big shoes to fill..

Re: Garry Cook resigns

He has done a good job for City and I wish him well. To all those numpties a la Ian Wright et al having a right larrf because their witch hunt has suceeded, I would suggest that your celebrations won't last too long. This gives the owners a chance to bring their own man in, and looking at their track record with City and other projects I can't see it being some tin pot, mickey mouse appointment. In the owners I trust.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

Ridiculous thing for the Chief Executive to lose his job over after all he's done.

Fuck off Kia.

He was appointed by Thaskin - How far would he have taken us if Mansour hadn't of boughtus?

Re: Garry Cook resigns

As much as I didn't really like Cook, at least he was kind of in touch with the fans and knew what we wanted e.g. cheap, affordable ticket prices.

IF Kenyon comes in, will we see the astronomical ticket price rises come in like at Chelsea?

Re: Garry Cook resigns

I'm growing concerned at the growing numbers of people you can't make fun of! wont be long before we can't joke about anything.

Re: Garry Cook resigns

Wow, just wow!! I remember writing a message on this forum a few days ago saying that I found it hard to believe that an executive of his profile and experience would do such a thing. It seems I had too much faith in him.

What a clown! He HAD to go, the action is indefensible for someone in his position. If he hadn’t jumped he would have been pushed, I can promise you that. He would have been told tender his resignation or face the sack.
