Garth Crooks stat on Pablo Zabaleta

I fucking love the guy! A real man in a sport played by fairy boys, a committed and determined player who never ever moans about having to play out of position or being on the bench, a very underrated player who at right back is the best positionally there is...without being the best player in our team, he's one of my very favourites.

This - brave as a lion and gives his all, also good at taking one for the team if he does get caught out.
 
I'm not being biased but I've have him over any right back in the Prem. Not a bad left back as well.
 
He's come on leaps and bounds since this time last year.

I remember watching him against Napoli last year and wanting him to leave because he didn't offer much compared to Micah. But now he's a wonderful defender, a really great worker and he's developed his attacking game so much.

Dare I say it? Best right-back we've ever had?
 
I remember when people were gutted Corluka was replaced by Zabaleta. Zabaleta is a far better player. IMO he is now the best RB in the the Prem.

I read a post on forum the other day where a Spurs fan stated Zabaleta is a clogger. Unbelievable.
