Gary Neville

Gary Neville has called on the Premier League to make changes to the current Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) .

Neville: ️“I think it's [been] the most bizarre transfer window.

"I think PSR now is starting to be applied by the Premier League and that's why we're seeing a lot of clubs, including Manchester United, having to sort of navigate around selling players that maybe they wouldn't want to.

“PSR was never designed to make clubs sell their best academy players and that's what we're seeing, so something needs to change dramatically in this next 12 months in terms of the rules.

“Also, Newcastle I think should be able to invest in the squad. Again, PSR needs changing so owner investment is allowed so Newcastle can get to the level of Manchester City and other clubs.

Funny how there's now calls to change it as soon as the sky favorites have to sacrifice to comply isn't it? Why don't they just come out with the truth, what they want is a way to restrict everybody except the chosen few so they can maintain the advantage.

The fact is PSR isn't forcing any club to sell their academy players at all. It's entirely the clubs choice to do that. Maybe don't spend £200+ million every year and you won't be in a position to need to do that. You don't see City or dippers having to sell first team academy players because we haven't spunked £200m on garbage every year.

Nothing needs to change, clubs simply need to be better with their spending and/or don't spend as much, clubs won't be able to continually sell their academy players anyway as they won't have any left to sell so that issue will sort itself out without any need for intervention.

Fuck them ( the rags that is) you reap what you sow ..

Him and spit embarrassed themselves once again yesterday squeaking at each other for an hour as they do every time the rags lose a game! Sky are beyond pathetic. Can’t wait for the inquest tantrums and frothing at the mouth the next time Ipswich lose!

He even took it up a couple of notches yesterday with the absolute bollocks he was chatting about tent peg and this rags team
