As I said before, someone with a huge media profile not giving the usual cries of... ban them, kick them out etc. Is not to be sneered at.

On the overlap he actually leaned towards us cooking the books and no one never brought it up! Regarding our turnover he said how can city have the highest turnover!? More than the rags and Carragher spat out and Real Madrid Neville said it’s not right! That’s insinuating that we have cooked the books? Because little old city in rag mind can’t have higher turnover than his team or Madrid! He is a two faced kunt
 
Think Neville ( hate to say it ) is sticking up for fans of most over clubs.
He is right it is wrong to stop smaller clubs of dreaming big.
The problem with the pl is the smaller clubs in this league are happy with their roll and take the money.
They dont want other clubs taking their pl place.

As he said its impossible for him to get Salford utd to the premier league. Because ffp means Salford wouldnt raise enough funds to compete unless outside/owner fund was allowed.

The premier league is yet a closed shop but at the top of the league it almost is. Hence the big 4 or 5 or 6 depending on were utd are in the league !.

The pl brand will always want that top few clubs, hence the help from VAR. The top few clubs sell the pl brand, the smaller pl clubs know this so dont rock the boat.

Pl ring rules about sponsorship from the owner country yet turn a blind eye to American sponsoring America clubs. Utds car shirt sponsor couldnt be bought here I think !.
Which American club will be the first to have a gun manufacturer as a sponsor ? PL allow money laundering gun running banks.

Neville can be a twat when going on about utd but he is a die hard red. I tend to just laugh about that side of him !.

But he is right it is getting harder and harder for clubs to get up the pyramid. When clubs get promoted it means the ground has to be improved. Yet in the PL the rags and dippers stadiums arent I to spec. No big screen. Are they fined ? Are they told they can't be in the PL ? Yet other clubs are denied promotion on these grounds of the stadium not being up to spec !

Or maybe he’s just highlighting his point and including himself and Carragher in it, that, really, they are both just jealous of City when they say that stuff.

Nahh if you in effect accusing city that our turnover shouldn’t be higher then the rags Madrid not jealousy it accusation of something not right!
 
Neville is full of shit!
He talks well and sounds informed but it’s all bollocks

He moans about human rights then take Qatar money for world cup
He moans about the glazers but took their money for years
He talks about racism but then admits he basically told Raz to get on with it for England
He talks about FFP but has done the same with Salford

He wants to be our owners but is doing it with a hotel and Salford city not a global investment business

He’d like nothing better than City to get thrown out of the league and then United given the freedom to spend whatever they like.
 
Some of what he said about FFP is helpful. He has a vested interest here. Let's not forget his motives. However, deep down he's hurting real bad because we have dominated the PL over the last 10 years, increased our global brand massively, played some sublime football and raised the standard in the English game. So, let's not forget he's hurting real bad and he has a personal agenda. That said, some of the baying mob will have heard his comments regarding FFP and some may be thinking differently because of what he said, but not many as FFP being a protection blanket for the history clubs spoils the media narrative.

P.s. I bet Gary cries into his pillow every night thinking about City's success....

They would also pump millions into the city. Gary likes a bit of cheese and no serious Manc investor or political type has a problem with Arab investment.

Loath to say it too but a lot of Manc Rags have got to know it’s a stitch up. Yes they are a gloating bunch at times but they have blue friends, colleagues and relatives and whatever they say, they watch us on telly. The most jealous ones really revelling in our situation are Rags and red types with no personal ties to the region imo.
 
He has been saying for many years that owners should be able to invest, it is not something new. He was probably thinking of Salford City at time where he has, of course, invested.

Probably true, my experience of match attending local Manchester rag fans is that they accept the rules are a bit of protectionist stitch-up.

Liverpool fans seem to have the biggest chip on their shoulder about it, I suppose because up until recently they saw their owners as paragons of virtue only interested in sustainably building their club organically and we were the only thing between them and domination of the league. As we as always knew, it turns out their owners were just after making a quick buck like the rest of the US owners.

The fact is that the closer a club follows the FFP rules the less happy the fans of that club are. That says a lot about who the rules were written for.
