That looks far to much even with today’s prices, think I might stay in the care home until spring :-)should my gas be £345 pm?

It may be linked to your billing date bud, mine is the 1st of the month.Yes by DD. Definitely not missed it. We had an email to say it will be sometime in October so it may turn up over the next few days. If not, I’ll be on to them.
I have today put new batteries in my torch for the first time , it is working well , not tripping over merlin anymore , he is black and i cant see him in the darkCleared out under the stairs and found a load of candles, lights are not going on at night for a few weeks, got an old fashion candle holder so is portable room to room
It is fun though , reminds me of being a kidFor those pissing about with candles or torches, you're wasting your time and effort. A 4W LED bulb could light up a room all year without even switching it off for £11. If it's just used when you're in the room and when it's dark the annual cost would be less than £2. The cost of lighting a whole house shouldn't be much more than a tenner a year.
If you want to save money, turn the heating down a bit, take showers instead of baths and don't leave the TV on when you're not watching it, and if you have any old tungsten bulbs replace them with LEDs.
You can change virtually all bulbs for LED, they do every type SES, ES, Bayonet, GU10…It is fun though , reminds me of being a kid
Seriously though , i have a ceiling fan with normal bulbs inthe bedroom and a old style low energy bulb on the wall setting , cant afford to change that lot unless a led bulb can go in them ?
