Get rid of EDF pal fucking terrible company then you’ll get it all back we switched to octopus as soon as they allowed it never looked back.Anyone had any experience of getting a refund off EDF? I’ve had a bill through saying I’m £1100 in credit, they’re charging me 300 a month and my predicted bill for the next year is £2800. Surely all of that credit should be refunded given my monthly payments easily cover the usage for the next year?! That or reduce my payments, they haven’t suggested either.
Are they adding on the increased standing charge during that period mate ?Had an email last month off British gas reminding us that energy prices are going down from 1st October.
Yet every day since then when I get up, our damned smart meter is telling me we've spent more between midnight and 6am, than we did before this supposed decrease. We don't have the heating on at all overnight, nothings changed on what we leave plugged in and on standby, so wtf?
Maybe, good idea. I'll check cheers. Are they adding on the increased standing charge during that period mate ?

You need to switch if you're not tied in. Octopus 27.47p for Gas. 47.95p Electric.Maybe, good idea. I'll check cheers.
*edit* yep, it was exactly that. As part of the "good news your energy prices are going down" email, the sneaky b*stards have also increase my standing charge to 34p per day for gas and 58p for leccy.
