Saved my dad an estimated £500 by changing his BGas tariff, he doesn’t really know how it all works but a few clicks and he’s well happy, I told him I expected a significantly better Xmas present this year, I basically save him a fortune in insurance Sky etc it’s just too complicated for him.

Martin lewis shouting get on a one year fix today ! They have started to be dropped by the companies , switched to octapus as they dont make you have a smart meter , saved £100 a year and slightly less per month

I went via uswitch , other comparison sites out there as well, put your name and address in and all your curent details come up , you dont need to put any figures in yourself , easy

Did the same Kaz and saved mi sen about 150 over the next 12 months. Can't understand people who sit back and do nothing on this kinda thing. Baffling.

Especially as it’s not really a fixed tariff as you can exit without fees should a cheaper deal become available.

It’s literally just switching to a cheaper deal now. By not doing, you’re metaphorically burning £150 in notes to keep you warm.

Well done, i have always been scared to switch but was relieved uswitch had my current deal with edf , it must be a new thing that your contracts and all your numbers are known to the whole market . Literally took me five mins

Yes, it's a lot more simple and stress free than it was in the old days. It's almost done for you. Very simple, and I'm a technophobe.

Didn’t realise I could fix my gas whilst remaining on agile for electricity with octopus, I emailed then and within 2 hours it was down, save 1p a kw/h but it’s better than nothing.
